Ireland’s financial services sector is a cornerstone of the economy, driving growth and innovation. There are now more than 8,800 financial services companies operating throughout Ireland employing over 103,500 people. In addition, many of the 20,000 employees of the professional services firms in Ireland with an accountancy heritage, support the broader financial services sector. It contributes over €6.8 billion annually in tax revenue.
Financial Services in Ireland – Global Reach, Local Roots campaign is a call to action for everyone involved – policymakers, industry leaders, and educators. By working together and with the right measures in place, we can shape a thriving future for both the financial sector and the entire nation. As well as showcasing our key policy priorities at national and EU level, it goes beyond the numbers to highlight the talented people who drive the sector’s success.
